Installation is stalled after "download 32-Bit" the spinning circle seems to not be going anywhere

Hi StevenInstallation and Download are 2 separate things. Are you just downloading the Windows 7 RC ISO file or have you downloaded, created the installation disk and are now installing the RC?Let us know.Thank You for testing Windows 7

i have figured my way past my last problem, but now it says i cant go straight from XP to 7. i have XP. what do i do?

There is no upgrade path from XP to Win7. A 'clean' install is required.
Boot the Win7 dvd and install it to a separate drive or partition.
